Our skilled team of engineers are able to work with the client in situations where a unique approach is required, from custom built valves to standard products that are adapted for a wide range of applications. We can offer various customised valve designs based on our existing valve range to overcome any non standard requirements.
The range of vulcanised rubber lined valves does not use moulds to produce the lining, the bodies are lined and the lining is then machined back to final dimensions. This means that rubber lined valves can be made in any size without the high cost of special moulds.
Disc seals are made from a profiled extrusion and can be made to suit any disc size. The valve body will have an insert in stainless steel or higher grade material to reduce the wear on the ring and to ensure a consistent shut off capability.
Leeds Valve hold a wide range of body patterns which can accommodate non standard face to face dimensions and disc patterns to house shafts whose diameter will be selected to cover from light duty to fully rated shut off pressures.
Using our sophisticated high performance valve seating we are able to adjust the interference and reduce the torque requirement without losing the shut off capability.
