Saudi Aramco Scholarship Student Saad Bousbait, studying Mechanical Engineeringat Newcastle University has completed a month long work placement at Leeds Valve.
Following a successful first year at University, Saad joined the Leeds Valve team in June, experiencing the different departments and disciplines across our business. "During the four weeks I spent at Leeds Valve I gained a lot of things in two ways, academic way and industrial way. I learned that in order to have a good product you need professionalism, organised systems and group working. I learned about material properties and how to choose the right material for the right job. I learned in order for the person to produce he needs good friendly atmosphere to work at, which I found in Leeds Valve".
From everyone at Leeds Valve, we would like to wish Saad the very best for the continuation of his studies, scholarship programme and future career with Saudi Aramco.
